  • Past Chief, Division of Urogynecology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Director of Fellowship Program in Urogynecology/Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Associate Professor with the Department of Ob/Gyn at Harvard Medical School.

  • Dr. Michael Fenn is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Director of the Center for Medical Materials and Biophotonics at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL.
  • Extensive experience working with a variety of collagen-based biomaterials provides him an excellent perspective on the importance of the properties of collagen, the primary matrix constituent of many tissues, in directing cells to recreate native tissue performance.
  • Director of the Center for Medical Materials and Biophotonics at Florida Tech, which focuses on unique life science applications via the combination of his diverse background in advanced biomaterials, nanomaterials, biomedical photonics, and applied machine learning, with an emphasis on translation and commercialization of technologies.
  • Dr. Fenn has served as consultant, advisor, board member, and co-founder for over 25 startups, as well as acted as an advisor/consultant for several incubators and two economic development committees.
  • Dr. Fenn’s lab was recently awarded an NIH grant for 3-D bioprinting of biomimetic tissue engineered collagen constructs containing nano-Bioglass for ACL reconstruction.
